"Leslie was a fantastic guide on our trip to Central America. She had a wealth of knowledge, which she shared with the group in a fun and relevant way.
Her passion for history and culture was inspiring and she was always interested in finding out about other people’s interests and passions to enable them to make the most of their particular reason for traveling.
Leslie was always positive and a great person to spend time with - I was very glad to have met her in such a wonderful part of the world.”

“I have had the pleasure of traveling with Leslie for two separate service projects/time of rejuvenation. In 2015, I did a solo education project in Costa Rica with Leslie. She coordinated all the details from ticket price to lodging to service project location. She was well versed of the culture and whereabouts of the area. I really enjoyed my time. In 2017, I brought a team with my non-profit Project 214, to expand to Panama. Leslie again did an incredible job coordinating and helping us get around from both Costa Rica and Panama. Without her, we’d have no knowledge of where to serve and relax. She’s inspiring, a champion for social justice and education, and she has such a passion for travel and service. To work with her is to have success in whatever your international goals are. I highly recommend her services-truly they have changed my life and my perspective on what it means to be globally conscious, along with the importance of being one with nature and taking time to rejuvenate and recharge.”

Leslie Gueno is an outstanding tour leader, trip planner, project manager and teacher! I am an Anthropologist, teacher and social worker who has been working with Leslie since 2013, when we first met in Bastimentos (Bocas del Toro, Panama). For almost four years, Leslie and I have been collaborating in diverse projects related to cultural, linguistic and environmental preservation, valorization and development of African-descended communities in the diaspora. Leslie’s extensive knowledge of teaching methodologies, together with her familiarity with Afro-Latin American cultures and her proficiency in English and Spanish were essential to the success of the projects in which we have developed together and are the reason why I am always willing to working and/ or travel with her again. In 2015, my husband and I went on a fantastic tour trip to Costa Rica organized by her. Every single work and traveling experience I had with Leslie was extremely pleasure, interesting, challenging and rewording. She is proactive, attentive to details, efficient in solving problems without ever letting go of her charismatic, sensitive and energetic personality. I definitively, recommend Leslie Gueno and ADCX for your future traveling and learning adventure!
