Going Big

This shelter in place has taught me many things.

The most important lesson is that I can no longer play small. My travel plans, goals and dreams need to go to the next level. The time is now to go where I have never gone before. Originally, I planned to go to the Mother land 2021 or 2022 to begin to learn more and build relationships. However, now that we have been forced to remain within political borders I now know that as soon as they borders are opened that I must go immediately. It is now time for us to travel to the home of our ancestors and begin to reconnect, heal and build. The vision has always been to connect the diaspora but it is now more important than ever to find real ways to connect to the mother land. In all ways. So, we aare in the planning stages now, developing relationships in different countries and packing our bags. We are going full speed ahead. Knowing that our ancestors are guiding us and cheering us on! Once we are on the ground we will share as much as we possible can with the intention of helping you to reconnect as well. As a Diaspora, we are in need of safe places around the world. We will find them, create them and connect them to you.
